On May 22, 1872, Richard Wagner’s 59th birthday, the foundation stone for the Bayreuth Festival Theatre was laid. In this 150th anniversary year, it is a particular joy to be part of Parsifal in Bayreuth – a work conceived and composed specifically for the Bayreuth Festival Theatre.
