The new complete recording of Richard Wagner’s “Parsifal” from the Vienna State Opera will be released by Sony Classical in 2024.
Singing under the direction of Philippe Jordan: Jonas Kaufmann as Parsifal, Elīna Garanča as Kundry, Georg Zeppenfeld as Gurnemanz and Ludovic Tézier as Amfortas.
The world premiere recording of this forgotten operetta appeared in 2020 for the anniversary of Lehár.
