For the second time, the Vienna State Opera invites the public to a spectacular open-air concert in the Vienna Burggarten, where an ensemble will perform highlights from the upcoming season. World-class stars such as Asmik Grigorian, Piotr Beczala, Juan Diego Flórez, Ludovic Tézier, and others will be performing.
The concert takes place on September 6 at 7:30 p.m.
The concert on Sunday, 6 September 2026, will be streamed live worldwide from 7:30 p.m. on the Vienna State Opera’s streaming platform play.wiener-staatsoper.at and will be available for 72 hours afterward.
ORF III will broadcast the concert on September 6, starting at 8:15 p.m. From 8:15 p.m., the concert will also be shown at the Film Festival on Vienna’s Rathausplatz. In addition, the concert will be broadcast on ARTE on October 4, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. and will be also available online in the ARTE video library for one year.
